Welcome!


You can support SIRS and the people we serve in many ways. You could volunteer your time, provide financial support, hire a person with a disability, involve a person with a disability in your network of friends, you can help organize a fundraiser, have your business or company choose SIRS Industries as your outsourcing option. These are just a few ways you can make a difference to SIRS and people with disabilities in your community.

  • Donate And Make A Difference

    Every donation to SIRS makes a difference in the life of a person with a disability.  Contributions go directly toward supporting people to reach their goal of living a fulfilling life.   We as a community grow stronger as people are empowered to increase independence, and make an impact in each others life.

    Every penny makes a difference. Its not the amount donated, its the thought behind it. If you are able to donate and change these peoples lives for the better please do.

    We have  "Support SIRS" buttons all over our website. The littlest amont could make a huge difference. 

  • Benefits to the Donors?

    The satisfaction of making a significant gift to SIRS during your lifetime. The advantage of avoiding or deferring capital gains taxes on gifts of appreciated securities or real property. Income tax deductions the year the gift is made, with carryover for five years, depending upon the donor’s situation. The potential for increased income during the donor’s and/or beneficiary’s lifetime. Professional investment management of the capital for the benefit of SIRS. Assets irrevocably given to SIRS are not subject to estate tax.

  • SIRS Dream Team

    The SIRS Dream Team is a group of volunteers that pull together available community resources to fulfill the dreams  of people with disabilities, served by Southern Indiana Resource Solutions (SIRS), in Warrick and Vanderburgh area. This group is  providing the gap which is being created by state and federal funding cuts.

    We have volunteer opportunities in many locations and areas of interest.

  • General

    Volunteers are needed at each and every location to help with a variety of tasks, like planting and maintaining the landscaping, cleaning and performing small maintenance tasks. Some locations need updates and improvements and skills like painting and trim work are in demand. Office help is also needed. Examples include covering the phone during lunches or meetings, filing, copying, collating, organizing, preparing mailings or packets of information for shows, customers, etc.
